The artist was fishing in a dumpster down in Marina del Rey one night... when he discovered some amateurish paintings that were so bad, that they were really quite good. One of them was used to make a piece called "Rauschenberg", and the starving artist sold it to a savvy collector in Westwood for a fast grand. The funky chunky turkey seen in "Tax Payer" was also one of the amateurish paintings found in the grungy dumpster. Make special note of the metal saw blade that floats above the turkey's ugly head, and then scrutinize the dotted line running across the turkey's neck. Now take a good look in the mirror "comrade", it's the portrait of you. The "Tax Payer" was sold to a savvy and opportunistic L.A. business man with a bullyboy mentality, and a predator proclivity for running small cons on vulnerable people. He deserves all those audits! If you think that Oswald did the dirty dog deed, then you must think that the earth is flat. Americans live in extreme deny-all, and American democracy has become a democracy promoting hypocrisies. This painting shows the abstraction of an owl with eyes inside coyote ears. The dog-eared owl continues to state the obvious... because the truth is still hidden behind lies. South of Los Angeles is a vast wasteland of hard core lightninging baboonies with myopic mollusk of Mussolini. This wasteland is called Orange County, but the orange grove was paved over long ago to make way for twenty lane freeways... and corp-rat condo units. And what a lovely scene it is! Pictured in the center of this colorful and controversial painting is an archived photo of a token black male. Sitting in a lotus position... and completely surrounded by lily white republicans. He's the "black sheep" among the flock, but like the whites that surround him... he also behaves like a "good little German". Shining high above is a blazing nazi sun. It shines down among sailboats that razorblade across waters... kept hidden behind a tall yellow fence of bloody barb wire. Yes... these are folks of Orange County. Not only they live in exclusive, gated communities, but they also live in their own little worlds. They see nothing beyond their rightwinging dogmesses. They see nothing because they're blinded by the light of fear birthing selfishness and greed. It's a blinding light... breeding an unhealthy lust for power. No doubt, the folks of Orange County wouldn't hesitate to sell their alleged democracy for a quick buck. In fact... they'd gleefully sell the knives that their enemies would use to cut their throats!
